E-Safety Training for schools - 10th November 2015

Working in partnership with South West Grid for Learning (SWGfL) and Welsh Government (WG) we are hosting a number of E-Safety training events specifically targeted at schools.  The first, for schools leaders, will give a general update on E-Safety and current trends as well as an overview of 360 degree Safe Cymru framework.  The second session is designed for teachers and learning support assistants.  Both sessions are suitable for primary, secondary and PRU schools.  Please see below for event details and links to the online booking for each session:

E-Safety Training for school leaders:

Wrexham Lifelong Learning in partnership with South West Grid for Learning (SWGfL) and Welsh Government (WG) are delighted to offer this E-Safety training for school leaders.  The training will focus on:

  • General session on trends and technology with a particular focus on Bullying and use of Apps like Snapchat
  • Overview of 360 Degree Safe Cymru
  • Understanding online behaviour and identifying young people at risk
  • Using Social Media to engage with stakeholders

Both of the above sessions will be hosted at the new LA Conference room at Ysgol Y Grango.
